It's time to go a little "old school" with Stuhrling Original! We have a total of three (3) popular and much sought after timepieces that are, unfortunately, no longer producd...the Falcon, the Apocalypse XT and the Il Capo. Quartz and automatic. Strap and bracelet. All with a singular low price that includes free shipping. Our direct relationship with Stuhrling Original allows us to be able to offer the very last of series in each of these models. But, you do need to know that we have less than a handful of each and once gone, they are gone for good. If these need to be in YOUR collection, you must act immediately!
This time we’ve located two Stuhrlings going old school! Both of these to our knowledge no longer in production and almost all held in private collections. The Nautilus and the Challenger Pro. Through our brand direct relationship you can reserve your choice of the last not pre-owned examples for just $159.99, shipping included AND with full original warranty! Obviously when these are gone it’s highly unlikely we can get more so those interested should act quickly.
When it comes to the deals that we offer on Talk About Watches (Hotness Picks, What’s Mike’s Deal?, Flash Sales, etc.), we negotiate the absolute best deal that we can with the brand or supplier. What many folks don’t realize is that we are often fighting a battle against other retail outlets of these watches as we are very often able to negotiate prices lower than what everyone else is able to get. And that can, and often does, create behind the scenes “fights” that would amaze you. Usually we have to agree to only offering the pricing we have negotiated for a short time. In the case of the tourbillons you see listed here from our great friends at Stuhrling Original, the hugely discounted pricing is coming to an end. Therefore, we wanted to offer these amazing timepieces once again before they do become more expensive. If you’ve had your eye on one or more of these or you are new and did not see these offers when they were originally presented, we do hope that you’ll take a long and serious look at them and make a buying decision that could very much result in one of the crowning pieces in your collection. We do not know quite yet when these will end. When we do, we will put a countdown timer on this page and let you know. But, you do need to act quickly as they could come to an end without notice.
Watch collectors love the cool watch. The ones with the unusual features. The Stuhrling Original Tesla 686 delivers on that! A series of strategic vents through the dial create patterns while exposing small amounts of the enclosed ST-91011 open heart mechanical automatic movement. The decorated escapement/balance wheel is showcased at the 5 o”clock position, but this show has more than one star. Check out the sundial at the 7 o’clock. It’s actually comprised of two concentric wheels which facilitate a digital readout of a secondary time zone! Now look to the 11 o’clock and you’ll find an animated AM/PM indicator! This 45mm 316L steel case is brushed and finished in either black or gunmetal PVD plating and a putty gray or silver tone dial supporting luminous treated baton style hands. A Krysterna crystal front and back with the finished timepiece presented on a leather strap. It is fully tested to 5 ATM water resistance. Fans of mechanical complications (and that’s pretty much all of us!) will absolutely love having this in the collection. The MSRP is $995.00. But we have reserved a few that can be obtained for just $175.00 and that includes factory warranty and shipping!
The Stuhrling Original Sagittarian gives collectors Stuhrling’s take on one of the hot tickets over the last few years; the dual escapement automatic. Bigger watch houses first brought their builds to market but, of course, they were costly to say the least. Stuhrling’s creation takes advantage of the 9S005 automatic movement, which presents the dual escapements as dial focal points with the “primary” escapement assembly at the 4 o’clock position, with a secondary at the 8 o’clock position. It’s the primary escapement that “officially” interacts with the power train. But it should be noted that the secondary escapement also draws its power from the mainspring. Note also that this is the higher end model that showcases the dual escapements on a stunning textured dial via aggressive bridgework as opposed to other options that have the wheels “buried” within the dial confinement.
The Stuhrling Original Metropolis is another great example of a well made, good looking and extremely affordable timepieces from a brand that many of you know and already own. Join our own Tim Temple as he takes you through a detailed review of the Metropolis. This is a timepiece the he personally owns and has in his collection. So, his experiences with this watch are first hand. The short story on this one? It is a timepiece that certainly deserves a serious look and a place in your collections as well. Enjoy and let us know what you think!
We experienced some unfortunate and unexpected email issues earlier in the week and due to that, we have decided to extend our "Big Game" sales (there are three of them) for a very short time to ensure that everyone is aware of them and has the opportunity to get one or more if they need to be in your collection. Please do have a look to see what is still available and make sure that you act before the count down timer on the page reaches all zeros. To those that were effected by our email issues, we do apologize and are working hard to ensure that we do not experience such issues again in the future.
If you’re gonna play during the big game you must bring the big guns and we surely have with this! Meet a Stuhrling build containing not one but two grails! Behold a tourbillon and meteorite dial together. 43mm 316L steel case in your choice of finish. Sapphire crystal front and back (because you’re going to want to show off the decorated 93301 mechanical movement). The finished work is tested to 3 ATM water resistance and presented on genuine lizard strap. The asymmetry of the meteorite dial is especially eye catching with the exposed mechanical tourbillon complication presented at the 4 position instead of the traditional 6.

Stuhrling Original is certainly a brand that is known for their implementations of the tourbillon movement. In the case of the Devilray, they have taken the traditional and, usually, more dress look in a different direction. Via the case design, dial design and slightly enlarged case diameter, the tourbillon is now presented in a more modern and a wearable design for many. In the deal that Tim and Michael have been able to negotiate, you are getting almost half off the normal asking price of the Devilray. As is almost always the case, the odds are that you won't see this pricing on the Devilray again. If you have held off of adding a tourbillon to your collection because the dressier styles are not for you, then this is a timepiece that deserves some serious consideration!
