We’ve talked for years on our shows how tool kits are one of the most practical additions to any watch collections. Also how they can literally pay for themselves, which is true. Recently we saw a discussion thread started by someone weary of paying 10 dollars per sizing, and if you went for the typical 12 piece kit in the 60 dollar (plus shipping) range you can recoup that in just six or seven sizings, not to mention some other stuff you can do. Smart, right? Ok, check this out. The kit we’ve negotiated has way more than a typical 12 piece. It may have some wear on the box itself (so what) but the tools are pristine. 3 jewelers screwdrivers. Bracelet block. Case blade. Additional portable bracelet block. Additional tool with numerous interchangeable strap changing forks and screwdriver heads. Needle nose. Jeweler’s loupe. Tool to loosen or tighten screw-in backs. dual head mallet. All in a custom foam interior carrying case. Not at 60.00. Not at half of that. ONLY 19.95, SHIPPING INCLUDED! Literally recoup this in the two sizings you do the first day you get it. It’s not a question of if you get this, only if you reserve what you need before they’re gone.
Between the black dial and the black Silicon strap you have the perfect backdrop for these numbers to pop right out at you. What a perfect idea to use a satin finished bezel against a high polished case and then put high polished numbers on the bezel with a high polished edge which makes it easy to rotate. The high polish touches pick up the light from everywhere including the high polished edges of the hands which are luminous. The Red C on the second hand adds that special touch all its own, contrasting against the black dial that showcases the expanded quickset date window. All of this is working with a SII VJ45B quartz movement protected by a Sphereulite crystal. Presented on a soft yet strong 9” silicon strap with a buckle closure.
Many folks have asked us to bring back this Croton Imperial automatic (plus watch winder) deal. Thanks to "The Merm", we are able to do so for this long Memorial Day weekend! Nothing has changed. The watches and the winder that you get with each watch purchase are the same...as is the pricing. If you missed out the first time or were not with Talk About Watches when it initially went out, then this weekend is your opportunity to get a second change at getting it into your collect (if you act quickly!).

This “soft” rectangle 47mm x 32mm x 10mm case is done in 316L steel and contains a Swiss quartz movement with quickset date. It’s a sleek gorgeous look on the wrist. Much of this build, such as 24mm diameter 8” bracelet and bezel is crafted from solid white ceramic. This lightweight hypoallergenic material is nearly impossible to scratch outside of diamond and stays color perfect. The dial features large easy to read arabic numbers and is protected by genuine sapphire crystal! The finished watch is tested to 3 ATM water resistance.
We’ve just been contacted by Croton with an exiting offer for a single collector. This tourbillon was built to honor their 140th anniversary and is visually spectacular both front and back. It’s important that we emphasize that this is the only one not in a private collection, as the collection otherwise sold out during an event coinciding with the anniversary. We know from speaking directly to the CEO of Croton that this piece was individually hand finished, and if you consider the exceptional detail enjoyed both obverse and reverse you realize to what extent.

Fans of mechanical open heart / multiple complications will love this! 44mm 316L steel case with light parchment colored textured dial beneath scratch resistant mineral crystal. But the real story here is the compilation array. Sweep second near the center with the axis of hour and minute hands moved a bit north of that. Of course the framed open heart display near the six is a focal point, but also note the GMT dial near the 10 and the animated am/pm wheel using rising/setting sun and moon illustrations near the two! Hands are treated to be luminous as well. The msrp on this piece is 250.00 and in looking around we’ve found this in the 100 dollar range plus shipping. TAW is just 79.99 with shipping, AND unlike any other deal we include BOTH brown and black 22mm leather straps! No one else is doing that! Act quick and please enjoy this bargain on a captivating automatic watch!
Croton CEO answers the demand for luxury watches sporting the flash of real diamonds. And this watch really does flash; these full cut white diamonds have wonderful light play and life, each individually prong set. This classic 42mm 316L steel build has 82 diamonds in the bezel, another 24 in the lug area, and 33 more make up the markers on the dial. There’s even one installed in the crown! Together they total to ONE CARAT OF DIAMONDS! The crystal is sphereulite (NASA material) with magnification over the quickset date and the dial is spectacular mother of pearl. The finished work is presented on a tapering 24mm solid link bracelet and tested to 3 ATM water resistance. If you want the look of boardroom prestige at a glance on the wrist this is the one you want. Each lists for 2000.00. Reserve yours now through TAW brand new with full factory warranty for just 499.99, shipping included! But check this out; it gets better. The Industrial is a bold power statement. Two independently set Japanese quartz movements, one a chronograph, are housed in a 316L spectacular large case. As you can see from the illustration it is commanding on the wrist. 35mm x 50mm does not translate of course in traditional, but in this shape, known as “fancy” in the industry, it is spectacular. This watch is very large and also heavy, yet very comfortable due to the beautifully curved ergonomic designed back. The custom crystal is Spherulite (NASA developed material) and the bezel is custom built from solid black polished ceramic. The lug is 22mm and contains the substantial upgrade of a large padded genuine alligator strap, presented on dual deployant clasp (important because it protects your valuable alligator strap from flexing)! Tested to 3 ATM water resistance.
