Steinhart is a micro-brand well known for producing good quality watches at very low price points and the new Swiss Made Nav B-Chrono 47 Baumuster B Grey Edition follows that tradition. What is especially interesting at this price point is the use of a Top Grade Valjoux 7750 automatic chronograph (with a custom decorated gold tone rotor). Add to that the use of sapphire crystals and Super Luminova (BGW9) packaged into a 47mm gunmetal and grey overall "package" and the $1K price point makes it very attractive to many.
On Wednesday, 08/15/18, the Movado Group announced that it intends to purchase MVMT Watches, Inc. for the initial sum of $100 million dollars. Ulysse Nardin (a part of the Kering Group) has a long and storied history as a watch brand and also a long history with the United States. The Executive Skeleton Tourbillon “Stars & Stripes” celebrates that history.
