Given how the demand for our first offering in the Bulova “mini-clocks” blew up, of course we looked for another. And we found it. This is a new old stock (NOS) find; the Bulova Berkeley. Goldtone metal construction. The dial is genuine mother of pearl (very unusual on a clock dial) with goldtone hands under a glass lens. Approximately 1.75” x 1.75”. This piece is NOT preowned and ships wth the full original packaging. We looked for sourcing and could hardly find any, and what we did see was DOUBLE the price! Our source has the original MSRP at $695.00. Reserve yours now via TAW for just $49.99 SHIPPING INCLUDED! And there will be a fresh battery installed prior to sending to you. Given that this is NOS once it sells out the deal is gone, so interested parties should reserve quickly.

This time we’ve located two Stuhrlings going old school! Both of these to our knowledge no longer in production and almost all held in private collections. The Nautilus and the Challenger Pro. Through our brand direct relationship you can reserve your choice of the last not pre-owned examples for just $159.99, shipping included AND with full original warranty! Obviously when these are gone it’s highly unlikely we can get more so those interested should act quickly.
When it comes to the deals that we offer on Talk About Watches (Hotness Picks, What’s Mike’s Deal?, Flash Sales, etc.), we negotiate the absolute best deal that we can with the brand or supplier. What many folks don’t realize is that we are often fighting a battle against other retail outlets of these watches as we are very often able to negotiate prices lower than what everyone else is able to get. And that can, and often does, create behind the scenes “fights” that would amaze you. Usually we have to agree to only offering the pricing we have negotiated for a short time. In the case of the tourbillons you see listed here from our great friends at Stuhrling Original, the hugely discounted pricing is coming to an end. Therefore, we wanted to offer these amazing timepieces once again before they do become more expensive. If you’ve had your eye on one or more of these or you are new and did not see these offers when they were originally presented, we do hope that you’ll take a long and serious look at them and make a buying decision that could very much result in one of the crowning pieces in your collection. We do not know quite yet when these will end. When we do, we will put a countdown timer on this page and let you know. But, you do need to act quickly as they could come to an end without notice.
Tim, Michael and the entire Talk About Watches team are very excited to announce that the watch brand CT Scuderia has officially joined the ever increasing list of brands represented here. In fact, today, they become the 20th watch brand and 24th brand over all to join the Talk About Watches family (and we STILL aren’t done...look for even more announcements coming soon!). CT Scuderia will have their own brand area here on Talk About Watches (or a "boutique" as we refer to it) and, when ready, will also be doing some special deals with us that you’ll be able to take advantage of. Keep an eye open for this as we should have their products loaded to the site soon. Work is already under way to get everything that we have access to loaded as well as set up an introductory deal at what we think are going to be some of the lowest prices seen!
Sometimes you are just in the right place at the right time. In this case, it was the ability to pick up three (3) much sought after Swiss Made Valjoux 7750 automatic chronographs at an average discount of about $400 to $500 savings per watch. The only catch? We have exactly ONE (1) of each of them available and do not expect to have access to any further quantity moving forward. In the case of the "Kermit" Pro Diver, you are getting #2 of 200 in a Numbered Limited Edition run and you'll certainly never have an opportunity on that one ever! If any of these need to be in your collection, you must act quickly to ensure that you secure it before sellout!
Panerai recently released a new version of the Luminor Base Logo 3 Days Acciaio (PAM775) as well as two (2) other models in the line as well as the Base Marina. All six versions of these new 44mm models utilize the in-house P.6000 mechanical movement that replaces the ETA/Unitas 6497. In this post, we highlight all 3 versions of the Base Logo as well as the Marina Logo and the P.6000 movement. These are all great new entry points into the Panerai brand and are sure to be hit with with old and new collectors alike.
Watch collectors love the cool watch. The ones with the unusual features. The Stuhrling Original Tesla 686 delivers on that! A series of strategic vents through the dial create patterns while exposing small amounts of the enclosed ST-91011 open heart mechanical automatic movement. The decorated escapement/balance wheel is showcased at the 5 o”clock position, but this show has more than one star. Check out the sundial at the 7 o’clock. It’s actually comprised of two concentric wheels which facilitate a digital readout of a secondary time zone! Now look to the 11 o’clock and you’ll find an animated AM/PM indicator! This 45mm 316L steel case is brushed and finished in either black or gunmetal PVD plating and a putty gray or silver tone dial supporting luminous treated baton style hands. A Krysterna crystal front and back with the finished timepiece presented on a leather strap. It is fully tested to 5 ATM water resistance. Fans of mechanical complications (and that’s pretty much all of us!) will absolutely love having this in the collection. The MSRP is $995.00. But we have reserved a few that can be obtained for just $175.00 and that includes factory warranty and shipping!
Many collectors are fans of big watches. Others are fans of bargains. Both will love this. Brand new 54MM x 15MM AKULA! 316L stainless steel construct that contains a Swiss Ronda 5040D quartz movement, offering 1/10th sec chronograph and quick set date. Famous yellow dial is showcased beneath Flame Fusion crystal. Finished piece is presented on 10.5″ silicon strap and tested to 10 ATM water resistance. As you can see it arrived with MSRP tags of $1495.00. Just to be sure we’ve verified through several sites (including the manufacturers) that it is correct. Reserve yours through TAW for just $119.00, SHIPPING INCLUDED! Limited quantity offer so please act quickly!
Some months back we began to feature the new XOSkeleton Superlative 42mm, which is the first time this model was done not only in that size but presented on a leather strap. While obviously well received, one of the common questions we got was, “When is the bracelet coming out?”. Well, we have good news and bad news. The good mews is we have them, but in very limited quantity! All 316L steel with the perfect lab created topaz gemstones suspended in the patented O ring design. The same high end mother of pearl dials. Swiss Ronda 775 quartz movement with sapphire coated mineral crystal and tested to 10 ATM water resistance. The huge difference is, of course, the addition of the 8” deployant bracelet! Ok, so what’s the bad news? Apparently XOS is NOT moving forward with significant production! We hope they change their mind. But, as of now, the quote we have from the owner is “no more in the world – will never be produced again”. We urge you to own one of these now! They were scheduled to retail for $995.00 but we have the few factory direct for just $229.00, shipping included! PLUS you’ll be upgraded into the high end “automaton” box! When these are gone, they are gone; please act quickly on this one.
These images look grayscale but they’re in color. What we have is the sought after black finish Renato Beast! The round 47mm x 16mm stainless steel case features a sapphire coated mineral crystal within the bezel featuring Claus de Paris texture for a refined finish. A push and pull crown with function pushers completes the impressive 16mm thick case design. Luminous index markers at all hour positions except 12:00, 4:00 and 8:00. Renato includes luminous Arabic numerals at 12:00 and 8:00. The first of the iconic Beast X collection to utilize a chronograph, a precision-crafted Swiss Ronda 5040.D Quartz Chronograph movement powering the luminous skeletonized hour and minute hands. A seconds subdial appears at 2:00, a 1/10 second subdial shows at 6:00 and an hour subdial appears at 10:00. A date window at 4:00 completes the dial execution. Renato finishes the ensemble with a solid link 9” stainless steel bracelet which attaches comfortably with a push button dual deployant clasp. In this package an additional black rubber strap is included so you can switch out to an ever more sporty look via a push button interchangeable band system that requires no tools.
